“We are working with the authorities to seek a fair and just outcome of this sad situation,” Ben-Cohen’s lawyer Joshua Ritter told E! News in a statement Thursday. ‘The family values ​​your space and respect for their privacy at this time.’

Shouhed, 43, was arrested in connection with domestic violence on March 27 and charged on March 28, E! News reported after reviewing the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department records; Shouhed was subsequently released on $ 50,000 bond.

Shouhed is due to appear in court in Los Angeles in connection with the incident on July 25.

Shouhed and Ben-Cohen revealed that they were engaged last summer during the show’s ninth season reunion after years of dating and living together in Los Angeles after buying a home there in May last year.
