“Well … Anyways … let’s focus on something else. Our show will air in a few days. “
Khloé Kardashian has accidentally confirmed a month-long fantasy theory involving her daughter True, and a very bad photoshop job from her sister Kim.
If you needed a reminder, the sisters faced plenty of attention last December after Kim posted some bizarre-looking photos of her daughter Chicago and Khloé’s daughter True at Disneyland.
As you can probably see, True seems to have been edited in the photos, where her whole body – and especially her hands – looks visibly blurred compared to Chicago’s.
Many fans quickly jumped on the bandwagon, speculating that True’s face had actually been photoshopped on Kylie Jenner’s daughter Stormi’s body when they had visited Disneyland just a few months before.
In October, Kylie posted a TikTok of herself, Stormi, Chicago and KarJenner’s matriarch Kris enjoying a cute trip to Disneyland for Halloween. At one point in the video, we appear to be watching both Stormi and Chicago from behind while queuing for one of the rides.
Interestingly, Chicago wears exactly the same outfit on the trip in October as she is in the photos Kim shared in December – and Stormi’s outfit, a gray hoodie and red sweatpants, is identical to that apparently worn by True.
“Not only is she photoshopped, but she’s photoshopped on a photo of Stormi from October, and I was just so weird,” claimed TikTok user @maiachondrialmembrane in a viral breakdown of it all – which has since received over 2.4 million likes.
And before long, internet speculators managed to dig up old photos of True, which were shared by Khloé – where she appeared identical to the Disneyland snaps that Kim had posted.
Next to a collage of this apparent – and very compelling – proof, a fan account wrote: “So you’re telling me that kim kardashian west covered stormis face with menace face of a picture that khloé posted before ?! Even we know “All the day they come out with Kylie and Crisis on October 19 to Disneyland. Even Chicago’s clothes and hairstyle are not the same. Something happens.”
At the time this was blowing up across social media, neither Khloé nor Kim acknowledged that the alleged photoshop failed – despite the comments being flooded with fans shouting about the mishap.
“terribly photoshopped lololol,” one person wrote. “This is what the photoshop looked like,” said another.
Well, the conversation came back this week after Khloé revealed that True went to Disneyland for the “first time” on Tuesday to celebrate his fourth birthday.
In a video posted on her Instagram story, Khloé said, “This is Trues first time at Disneyland!”
Expected, fans were super confused about Khloé’s revelation and quickly jumped online to note that if Kim’s photos were in fact legitimate, there’s no way this could have been Trues’ first time in the park.
“Funny how Khloe said that today was Trues first trip to Disneyland when Kim wrote this a few months ago,” one person tweeted. “We knew it was photoshopped.”
“Khloe said that today is Trues’ first time at Disneyland … Disney’s photoshop conspiracy theory is back,” another wrote on Instagram. “I’m sure they had a good reason to cover Stormi in the pictures, I just think it’s interesting and fun.”
And with the talk bubbling up on the net, Khloé finally ended up even going into the conversation to weigh into the speculation.
Reply to a fan who tweeted that “people have questions“Khloé honestly admitted that she had” fucked this one up “, and confirmed once and for all that the pictures had been edited.
“Well, I fucked this one,” she tweeted before focusing on her family’s new Hulu show, Kardashianswhich premieres later this week.
“Anyways … let’s focus on something else,” she added along with a laughing emoji. “Our show will air in a few days.”
Interestingly, Khloé did not say why True was edited in the photos, nor did she waste further details on the digital mishap. However, it has been speculated that Stormi was photoshopped out to avoid drawing attention to Kylie and her partner Travis, both of whom were involved in controversies at the time after his Astroworld festival.
Last November, Travis’ self-produced concert with headlines left 10 people dead and hundreds injured by deadly crowds. Kylie and Stormi had been present at the event, though they were reportedly led out VIP section as soon as the fatal swarms occurred.
Fan-filmed recordings from the crowd appeared to show Travis acknowledging the concert guests who received medical treatment when emergency services appeared. In addition, Kylie had shared videos on her Instagram story during the night where ambulances could be seen among the attendees.
Travis has since been named as a defendant in hundreds of lawsuits, many of which have cited “negligence” and “encouragement of violence.”
Travis and Kylie were criticized for their initial reactions to the tragedy, as they had both shared brief statements online in the wake of it. One detail that particularly exacerbated fans was that Kylie claimed the couple “was not aware” of the deaths until after the festival, despite having documented it on her Instagram story.
The couple remained silent on social media for the next few months, and Travis ended up returning to Instagram itself the day after Kim shared the edited Disneyland photos. For that reason, some fans have guessed that Kylie and Travis wanted to keep a low profile while in the midst of controversy, and got Stormi edited out of the photos as a result.
Although we still do not have any concrete answers as to why True was edited in the pictures, fans were still just amazed that Khloé actually confirmed the long-standing theory.
What’s more, the comments under Kim’s original Disneyland post are now flooded with references to Khloé’s revelation.
“Khloe just basically confirmed that this was photoshopped lol,” one reads. “Come here just to say WHY Kim,” wrote another user.
Well, we hope they unpack this whole photoshop mess on their new show!
