Aaron Peak mod Adli Edwards

Round 1: Inside leg kick from Edwards. Pico goes in for an early takedown and he gets it. Shocker. Side control for Pico, now half guard. Hard elbow lands for Pico over Edwards’ face. Edwards, trying to snatch an ankle lock, buys Pico escapes. Pico lands a giant right hand and he loses Edwards. Edwards gives up his back, he turns and Pico has side control. Short elbows to Pico. Edwards gets up and Pico lands a giant left hook to his body before taking Edwards down again. Several short elbows are landings for Pico, and Edwards has no answer for him. Pico allows Edwards backc up and quickly lands a high kick in the head. Pico tears some shots to the body and he takes Edwards down again. Pico with another huge shot on the body before taking Edwards down again. Dominant round for Pico. 10-9 Pico

Round 2:

Pico opens things up with a three-stroke combi. He drops Edwards down with a high kick, though he gets up pretty quickly. Pico with a nast left hook to the body before scoring his fifth takedown of the match. Pico continues to go to the well with the body shots and they keep landing, Edward’s face starts to show what punishment he’s taking. Pico moments Edwards with an evil left hook and he takes Edwards down again. Edwards may not have much to offer offensively, but he shows a wealth of heart here. Pico now lands some land and pounds. He gets up, only to be taken down again. Pico looks perfect tonight, and puts it all together well, One-to from Pico after Edwards stands up. Pico with a nice left hook, then lands a spinning elbow. Kick to the body and another take-down to close the round. 10-9 Pico

Round 3: Rigid plug from Pico. Front kick from Edwards up in the middle. Three straight leg kicks land for Pico, then a one-two up top. Solid one-two combination falls Edwards and Pico goes in for the kill, shot to the side of the head before the referee puts a stop to the penalty. Great stop.

End result: Pico def. Edwards via technical knockout in the third round


Tim Johnson Vs. Linton Vassell

Round 1:

Low stroke to start things off Vassell, but Johnson refuses to take time. The action resumes. They pinch and start unloading on each other for a few seconds. Johnson pushed forward as he pushed Vassell up toward the cage. Inderspark from Vassell, Johnson pushes him once again up against the cage. Vassell is looking for a dismantling, do not understand. Another inside kick from Vassell. Kick to body from Vassell, body shot in return from Johnson. Johnson notices Vassell, and he cradles his with a giant left hand. Vassell falls to the canvas and Johnson throws himself. Vassell is up, but falls down again, and Johnson bum crashes him like a tank and starts unloading some vicious earth and shock. Vassell hangs hard, but Johnson is relentless. Johnson got a wound in the forehead, probably from diving into ruthlessly. Vasell now has Johnson’s back and he’s unloading. What a turnaround! Johnson turns to Vassell, and Vassell is now in full swing. Ground-and-pound from Vassell and Johnson now has the answer, forcing the referee to put an end to the match in the very first round. What a comeback from Vassell.

End result: Vassell def. Johnson via first round TKO
