2022 Three-Round NFL Mock Draft: Kenny Pickett Falls; Packers, Chiefs load up on WRs

It’s a mock draft in three rounds, which means we get an idea of what gaps teams will try to fill beyond the first 32 picks. And perhaps more importantly, see what those teams without a first-rounder will do when they finally get on the clock.

This week, Malik Willis is again the first quarterback from the board, even though he comes past both the Panthers at No. 6 and the Falcons at No. 8. Then, for the first time in a long time, we have Matt Corral as the next QB taken. He has been our QB1 since the fall, and although we know there are differing opinions about him around the league, he is an athletic, mobile, strong-armed pass player who fits the shape of where the position is heading. Finally, at the bottom of the first round, Kenny Pickett comes off the board and two more quarterbacks are taken on Day 2.

Of all 105 selections (which included nine compensatory selections), five quarterbacks were drafted, while wide receivers, cornerbacks and edge rushers each had 15 players selected. Here is the breakdown for each other position:

RB: 4
TE: 4
OT: 12
OG: 8
OC: 3
DT: 7
LB: 10
S: 7

Keep reading to see how all three rounds unfold, whether you’re a fan of the Chiefs, who have six picks, or the Rams, Raiders, Panthers or Dolphins, who each have a lone pick on the first two days of the draft. .
